Our glamour girl, who never grows old. Her kids are grown and she is right alongside them, living that dream life. A strong keeper of traditions, she is cooking, cleaning when she wants, and living life on terms she was not always given. She can now, and we love every bit of it.
Long, bold, and made to be noticed. Natural African turquoise meets hand-carved cow horn in a sculptural drop that does all the work when the rest of your look stays simple. This speckled blue green African turquoise is formed from quartz with iron and other natural minerals that give every stone its own color and dark matrix. It has long carried meaning across African culture as a celebration of fertility and new life.
Mined in the Taita Taveta region of Kenya, one of East Africa's most celebrated gemstone regions, our African turquoise carries the colors of the land it comes from. Its blue green tones, veins, and markings formed slowly within the earth, so no two stones will ever be alike. Your piece is not a copy of anything. It's a one of a kind stone with a true origin.
Material: Natural Kenyan African turquoise, hand-carved cow horn, brass wire, gold-tone hooks
Size: Total drop approximately 4.5 to 5 inches
Origin and Craft: Handcrafted in Kenya from Kenyan African turquoise and natural cow horn. Each horn spear is carved and etched by hand, then paired with a wire-wrapped African turquoise stone. Because both materials are natural and each piece is made by hand, every pair has its own character.
Care: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Store flat and away from moisture and direct heat. Remove before swimming or showering.
Please Note: The color of this African turquoise is natural and never dyed. Variations in the stone, horn color, grain, and finish make each pair one of a kind.
